Thanks the work you put into this app Dave, much appreciated.
You fucking fucky fucking fuckdy fuck!!
oh wait.......... its your software, you can do what you like with it, lol.
Best of wishes on your future projects, and many many thanks for your hard work.

Thanks for developing Beebplayer. I hope the BBC build their own Android version soon. In the meantime, I will keep my eye open for any further projects you create for my HTC Desire. Best Regards, Chris
Please can you give us a link to the apk files?
Pretty please?
beebPlayer will be sadly missed. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into it.
(And if you were forced to remove it from the market, boos to whoever made you do it. They should grow up.)
I appreciate that given plan's for 2.2 enhancing beebplayer has little benefit. But are you able to explain why you haven't left it on the marketplace place for people to use "as is".
Have the BBC forced/asked you to remove it?
B
I can only assume the BBC asked you to remove it. Anyways, thanks for all the hard work and a great app, but a proper explanation would be nice :)
Obviously, you owe us no such explanation.
I have still got BeebPlayer on my N1 and after manually updating to Android 2.2 and installing the 10.1 flash beta I was actually a bit disappointed with bbc iplayer. It seems that the flash playback is a bit jerky and the full screen mode is not as good. I still use Beebplayer for watching some stuff now as its nice and smooth and I think until bbc develop a mobile android version of their iplayer site, your player will still be in use by me :)
All the best for the future
James
Live TV wont work it seems, but I can still watch programs on catchup.
Dave's lack of comments and terse announcement speak volumes, however. So I'm now off to flame some BBC iPlayer forums and send some stinging eMails to some BBC execs.
Firstly, Dave, Thanks for making such a great app!
Strange enough, I was going through my apps last night and found that BeebPlayer was working on Live streams again?
I have a HTC Hero ver 1.5 and, as the 2.1 update is just around the corner, I am concerned that I will loose the apk after the update!
Is there a way to back BeebPlayer up? The Astro app cannot do it (marked as Private).
no chance of getting the BBC to hire you to make an "official" app?
Im still missing beebplayer, ive just upgraded my phone to an HTC wildfire and have an app called myplayer pro showong all the channels, but its still not the same as beebplayer. Can anyone create an iplayer type app like beebplayer? I would happily pay for it if its gone out as a paid app.
